One of our favorite restaurant experiences in all of Alaska!!! You could tell they were busy, but they tried to stay on top of things and did really well. The was fast and phenomenal!!!! Simple, yet elegant and YUMMY!!! Definitely recommend coming here!!
Our must have for our trip to Seward was King Crab Legs. We chose to go to Chinooks to do eat ... we both get seafood a lot and .we both agreed that these were some of the beat we have ever had. The even better part was the exceptional service of Nicole our waitress and Debbie the Manager. If you find youself in Seward Alaska we highly recommend that you stop at Chinooks!
I had a great experience! My server was fun and attentive. I ordered the tipsy mermaid and the crab stuffed halibut! It was so good!
Was actually surprised to see the amount of bad reviews. We had a great meal! Hostess and waitress were very nice. We were starving after a long trek and this place hit the spot! I can understand some complaints on price being a little steep but other than that we had a great time!
We were on a vacation tour and stopped here to eat. They were ready and able to serve all of us in a timely manner and the food was delicious. great views from the restaurant.
The service was great, professional, and friendly. The food was wonderful. The king crab leg was delicious. The restraunt was clean.
We got the peel and eat Alaska side stripe shrimp appetizer. All but one of our shrimp was perfectly tender, juicy, and slipped right out of the shell. We also got the Avocado Salmon Salad and the Halibut BLT. Both portions of fish were generous and expertly cooked. We have paid a lot more for a lot less fish in Anchorage. The salads were crisp with fresher greens than we can get in Anchorage. I really wanted to get the s'mores dessert, but all their desserts have eggs which I'm allergic to. And we watched an Otter play in the water while we waited for our food! It was slow at 2 PM on a Friday in late May, so there was no wait and it felt almost like we had the place to ourselves.
I recently visited Chinooks’s with my family. We were not able to get a window seat but that was okay because we sat at a high top that allowed us to sit higher than the tables in-front of us and still get spectacular views of the harbor and wildlife swimming by! I decided to get the pound and a half of Dungeness crab clusters and I couldn’t believe how much crab I got for under 100 in Alaska! We have not seen that anywhere else on our trip yet! My husband got the crab stuffed Alaskan halibut and he said it was his favorite meal that he has eaten on our two week trip through Alaska. Other dishes my family enjoyed were: Fish and chips Tai salmon Halibut with basil pesto Large house salad with a salmon filet I hope this review helps! It was so nice to find a place that we didn’t have to spend 500 for our family to enjoy a nice dinner that even included crab! I am so confused by the few bad reviews I have seen. Don’t hesitate and check out Chinooks if you are in Seward!
